Meta Catalog is the Meta Business product that holds your list of items — name, image, price, description, variants. WhatsApp Shop is the storefront experience that renders that catalog inside a WhatsApp chat, so buyers can browse products without leaving the app. Go4whatsup connects the two: you manage products in Go4whatsup, we sync them into your Meta Catalog, and Meta serves the shop UI inside your WhatsApp number.
Do I need a Shopify or Woo store to use this?
No. You can upload products directly in Go4whatsup — this becomes your source of truth. If you already run Shopify, our Shopify integration can also feed the catalog, so you don't maintain two lists.
How long does the product sync take?
Product create / edit / delete events push to Meta Catalog as soon as they happen in Go4whatsup. Meta then propagates the update to the shop shown to buyers — usually within minutes. Bulk CSV uploads are batched and typically complete within an hour depending on catalog size.
Which payment gateways can I connect?
Razorpay is fully supported today via our Razorpay integration — UPI, cards, netbanking, EMI. WhatsApp's own native WhatsApp Pay is supported in India where Meta has enabled it. We can also wire a custom gateway on request — talk to us in the demo about what you use.
Who handles the money and PCI compliance?
Your payment gateway does. Go4whatsup generates the payment link and listens for the gateway's webhook to update the buyer on WhatsApp — we never touch card data or hold funds. PCI scope stays with your gateway.
Can buyers place a Cash on Delivery order?
Yes. You can configure COD as an option at checkout in the WhatsApp flow. If you use Shiprocket, RTO-reduction confirmation templates for COD orders can be turned on from the same dashboard.
What about GST invoices?
Once payment clears, the GST invoice PDF from your accounting or gateway system is auto-delivered back to the same WhatsApp thread. Compliance status of the invoice comes from your invoice generator — Go4whatsup handles the delivery.
